Ivy Push, RN?
Ivy Push, RN is a one-woman comedy act designed for nursing conferences.Seated on a broken commode in a utility room, Ivy gives you her own colorful commentary on patients, doctor-nurse communication and life in a hospital.

Ivy has been at the business of acute hospital nursing for 40 years. A graduate of The Queen's Hospital School of Nursing in Honolulu, Ivy is a typical mixed-race metropolitan, and speaks the inimitable "pidgin" dialectof the Hawaiian Islands.

The performance comes to you at what might have otherwise been the end of a long evening shift, but there's still work to do. Unafraid to address such sensitive issues as euthanasia, resuscitation in the terminally ill and complementary medicine, Ivy triple-tasks by charting and answering call lights during her discourse.

Ivy Push is funny and uplifting; she also holds a mirror up to the current state of nursing, leaving audiences holding their sides and searching their hearts.
